Triund Hill

Triund trek is one of the shortest and easiest Himalayan treks with spectacular scenery and a picturesque view of snow-covered Dhauladhar ranges and Kangra valley.

This two days short trek can easily be done on a weekend. Most of us barely get enough time to travel, explore new places and go on an adventurous trip. Triund trek allows us to explore the beauty and calmness of Himalayans, this trek might be short but it will; surely give you a little taste of adventure as the trail is a little steep at some points.

Indrahar Pass

Indrahar Pass is a mountain pass in the Dhauladhar range of the Himalayas, it is an offbeat trail running through the forest of Dharamsala . Located at an altitude of 4342 meters/ 14,245 ft above sea level, forms the border between Kangra and Chamba districts.

The Indrahar pass trek is considered to be moderate to difficult and takes off from the small town, Mcleodganj, situated in the outskirts of Dharamsala and goes up to Indrahar Pass. The trail passes through the famous Triund, Ilaqa / Laka got and Lahesh Caves.

Kareri Lake

Kareri lake is best known for being a trekking destination in the Dhauladhars. The lake remains frozen from early December to March–April. There is a temple dedicated to Lord Shiva and Shakti on a hilltop overlooking the lake..Kareri Lake (also known as Kumarwah Lake) is a high altitude, shallow, fresh water lake south of the Dhauladhar range approximately 9 km North West of Dharamsala in Kangra district, Himachal Pradesh. Its surface is 2934 metres above the sea level. Snow melting from the Dhauladhar range serves as the source of the lake and a stream, Nyund is the outflow. Since the source is fresh melting snow and the lake is shallow, water visibility is very high and in most places, the lake bed can be seen.

Kuari Pass

With a visit to popular pilgrim cities such as Rishikesh, Devprayag, Joshimath, and Haridwar, the Kuari pass trek, situated in Garhwal Himalaya is a 33 KM long journey. The trek is famous for letting you onlook India’s second-highest peak, Mount Nanda Devi.

The trek at an altitude of 12,516 ft. also offers you summit views of Dronagiri, Chitrakantha, Chaukhamba, and Tali top. Valley of Flowers

The Valley of Flowers trek is one of India’s most popular treks in the Himalayas. People who haven’t even stepped into the Himalayas, have heard about the Valley of Flowers trek. 

But there is a solid reason behind Valley Of Flower’s legendary popularity – it is one of India’s oldest known treks. 

In 1980, the Indian government created the Valley of Flowers National Park, and later in 2002, it was recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. This pushed Valley of Flowers on the bucket list of trekkers from around the world.

Chamba Valley

Mani Mahesh Lake

Manimahesh Lake (also known as Dal Lake) is situated in the Pir Panjal Range of the Himalayas, in the Bharmour subdivision of Chamba district of Himachal Pradesh. Nestled at an elevation of 4,080 meters, it is considered only second in significance to the Lake Mansarovar in Tibet. Manimahesh literally means “Shiva’s jewels”. According to a local legend, on a full moon night, one can see the reflection of this jewel in the magnificent lake.
